Why Visuals Matter in UK Planning

For applications in conservation areas, the expectation is particularly high. Historic England’s guidance on setting of heritage assets makes clear that the impact of new development on the significance of listed buildings and conservation areas must be rigorously assessed. Photomontage and Verified Views

A photomontage is a composite image produced by placing a CGI of the proposed development into a photograph of the existing site taken from a specific, documented location.
